Hooked

Let Steve introduce his simple but powerful idea based on his love of fishing and care for people who are struggling with life:

Every Spring/summer we take small groups for a day of fishing, time to talk and pray and lunch together.  We adopted ‘Hooked’ as a Derby Urban Church ministry in 2023 and it has been of great benefit to our guests and volunteers.  As well as taking groups of people we know through the church’s homeless ministry, we have also taken groups from our partners Green Pastures  and Derby City Mission.
